Shutterfly Christmas Cards

After Averie was born and I began to take hundreds of pictures every day (well, maybe I'm exaggerating but I'm sure it felt that way to her) I became a huge fan of Shutterfly. I have ordered prints, photo books, enlargements, stationary, calendars, and several gifts for family and friends. I love that you can personalize everything and give it your special touch instead of giving the same old common things. Last year was Averie's first Christmas so I knew I wanted to send special Christmas cards to celebrate the occasion. I used Shutterfly to create adorable cards that were simple to make and received lots of compliments http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-photo-cards. I wanted to use her first picture with Santa but I don't know how she would have felt about that in 18 years so we decided to go with a happier picture.

This year I knew we were going to be at the beach on vacation in November so I arranged for a professional photographer to take pictures for our 2010 Christmas cards. I coordinated our outfits in navy and white because I knew for all of us to wear red and green on the beach would not be very flattering and I wanted to work with the natural beauty found at the beach. I was so happy when I was browsing around for this year's card on Shutterfly and found this card. The 5x7 Midnight Snowflakes photo card will be perfect and go so good with our beach pictures. I love how it is simple, not over the top with generic Christmas garb, and leaves plenty of room to write my own personalized message celebrating the real reason for our Christmas season.

I love that Shutterfly has so many options to fit everyone's individual needs and that they make it so easy to create your holiday greeting in just a few simple steps. I have started a book where I'll add our custom Christmas card each year and I look forward to seeing how much we all change. If there is one thing that having a baby has taught me, its that each moment and each stage is precious and fleeting and I'm glad that using Shutterfly for our Christmas cards each year will help me to document each step in Averie's life.
