Yucky Tuesday feels like Monday

Today Averie and I just hung out because it got cold last night (in to the 40s) and it didn't warm up until much later in the day. I didn't even get us out of our pajamas until after 4! Today was kinda lonely and sad because Eli went back to work after a 3 day weekend and it felt like Monday all day. I HATE this time of year. There - I said it - I think I'm the only weirdo in the world who thinks summer is depressing. Give me the cold and dead of winter anytime because at least I'm not a golf course widow then! I feel this way about summer because Eli works so much and only gets 4 days off a month. If it weren't for that I would love the all the fun summer stuff like flip flops, picnics, baseball, ice cream, and cute outdoor accessories. This summer will be interesting because I will have a human companion to pass the time with (sorry Tucker, you are a great 4 legged companion).

I cancelled DirectTV because we are trying to save money where we can and they had a great deal. They also carry Peachtree TV which is the only station that carries the Braves and I didn't want to through another baseball season hearing complaining about how we never get to see the Braves. Dummy me didn't realize that when I called to cancel Dish Network they were going to cancel it right that second and Direct doesn't come until tomorrow between 12 and 4 to hook up the new stuff. So it was a quiet night without TV. I didn't tell Eli I had switched because I want to surprise him with a Braves game when he comes home from work. I told him I forgot to pay the bill and they cut it off and couldn't get it back on until tomorrow. HA HA won't he be surprised.Since we didn't have satellite I decided to pull out my Curious George movie that I bought right after it came out and never watched. I got all teary eyed and emotional while we were watching it because I bought that movie forever ago with the intention of watching it with my baby one day and that day had finally come. Dreams really do come true and I am so thankful for my beautiful blue eyed blessing!
